Day Programs
Overnight Programs
Our day programs are a great and easy way for any volunteer who is hoping to gain experience working with children and families facing pediatric cancer. We host a variety of day programs throughout the year.
These programs include:

Doodlebug Events (Ages 0-9)

Pre-teen Events (Ages 10-12)

Childhood Cancer Awareness Day

Seasonal Events

Health & Wellness Events

Parent Events
Our overnight programs are great opportunities for any volunteer who is interested in gaining the full CHD experience! These programs range from one night to a full week of Camp.
These programs include:

Family Weekends (Spring & Fall)

Extreme Teen Weekends (Spring & Fall)

Pre-Teen Lock In (Spring)
-
Counselor in Training (CIT) Retreat
-
weeklong summer camp (1st week of July)
Special Events
For any volunteer who has an interest in fundraising for a great cause and having fun while doing it! We host a variety of fundraising events throughout the year.
Special Events Include:

Annual Gala (February)

Happy Steps for Childhood Cancer Awareness (September)

Various third-party fundraisers throughout the year

We are always looking for new activities to share with our families.
Requirements to Volunteer
To serve as a Volunteer with Camp Happy Days, you must be at least 19 years of age or older. All new volunteers must complete:

Brief interview with Camp Happy Days Staff to get to know you, your interests, and discuss best fit for you as a volunteer.

Clean SLED South Carolina Background Check.
-
Child Abuse Prevention Training via Darkness to Light (Training costs covered by CHD).
